SHS Musicians Perform at Honors Festival

Stoughton High School musicians Abigail Roane, Samantha Roane and Peter DaSilva have been invited to perform with the Southeastern District Massachusetts Music Educators Association Honors Festival. The festival will held at Silver Lake High School on January 10 th and 11 th.

SHS Junior Abigail Roane, and Freshman Samantha Roane will perform with the District Concert Choir. Senior Peter DaSilva will perform on alto saxophone with the District Concert Band

All three musicians went through a rigorous audition process in November to earn a spot in the festival. Abigail also earned an All-State recommendation to audition for the All-State Music Festival at Symphony Hall in March.

SPS Fine Arts staff members Griffin Coombs and John Mange are the music teachers at Stoughton High School.
